Overview of Project Management – Power Solutions

Lead and motivate diverse project teams to achieve excellence in power systems delivery, including engineering, procurement, site installation, and commissioning.
Ensure all project activities comply with international standards, health and safety regulations, and client requirements.
Work collaboratively across cultures and time zones, driving progress and ensuring exceptional outcomes at each project milestone.
Key Responsibilities – Project Manager for Power Solutions Projects
Oversee the full project lifecycle: from initial client consultation and proposal through planning, execution, delivery, and final handover of power systems projects.
Coordinate cross-functional project teams (engineering, construction, procurement, subcontractors) to ensure alignment with scope, quality, safety, cost, and timeline targets.
Develop detailed project plans, manage budgets, track progress, and proactively mitigate risks affecting quality or delivery.
Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and building positive, long-term partnerships.
Champion continuous improvement, sustainability, and best practices in power solutions and project management.
Manage project documentation, reporting, stakeholder communication, and compliance requirements with attention to accuracy and transparency.
Support commissioning, testing, and resolution of technical issues in coordination with engineering and client teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications – Power Solutions Project Manager
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineering Project Manager or a similar role, demonstrating successful project delivery.
Strong technical knowledge and expertise in mechanical engineering principles, design, and analysis specifically with steam raising plant and boilers.
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
Familiarity with CAD software and other engineering tools is desirable.
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus..
